You can join the British Association of Dermatologists if you are a consultant dermatologist, a trainee dermatologist or a doctor with a significant interest and practice in dermatology.

To find out which category of membership is appropriate for you please read the guidelines and fill in the application forms.

Each application must be signed by two ordinary or honorary members of the British Association of Dermatologists.

• Reduced rates to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting and other meetings arranged by the British Association of Dermatologists.

All applications have to be supported by an existing Ordinary or Honorary members and seconded by an existing ordinary or honorary member of the Association. All applications must be returned together with a CV, a list of publications, a passport size photograph and a biographical detail form.

Applications are considered by the Executive Committee and applicants will be notified shortly after the Executive Meeting. Application forms should be submitted not less than six weeks before the Executive Committee is due to meet. Forms received after this date will be submitted to the following Executive meeting. Executive meetings are held quarterly on the third Thursday in January, April, July and October.
