Meetings

Two meetings are held annually, The summer meeting and one in the winter.

Function

The British Society for Dermatopathology aims to promote for the public benefit, the knowledge and teaching of dermatopathology and to stimulate appropriate medical and scientific research relevant to this speciality.

Membership is open to all medically and scientifically qualified individuals expressing an interest in dermatopathology. Currently there are some 200 members from the United Kingdom and abroad. There are approximately equal numbers of pathologists and dermatologists.

The Royal College of Pathologists awards the Diploma of Dermatopathology. The closing date for entry to the examination is in early January. Further details are available from the Examinations Secretary on (020) 7451 6757.
